he looks like a young male. Jackie Kennedy once said (of her step sister,) that a visit from Nina made her so happy, .... like seeing a cardinal come into your garden.
I like seeing females too... I had 4 females on my porch eating seed I threw on the steps yesterday.
I love it when males land on blooming forsythia-
do you have forsythia and lilac near your place?
