Honor the Earth and take your stand against global climate destabilization by joining in Earth Hour 2009. At least 80 countries hope to enlist a billion people to show their support by turning off their lights for one hour today at 8:30 p.m. local time. Here's the website for more EARTH HOUR info, and to learn other ways to participate. I'll be posting photos here this evening, and hope to see some of yours, too!
And thanks to the Aussies (who also introduced us to Harmony Day) who once again lead the way!

The Aussies really are leading the way on all of these great causes, aren't they? I'll post something on my blog as well! I've already more about it on Shadow Shot this morning!
We observed it in our apartment complex today. :)
We have signed up for another year. What an important gesture this is and how wonderful to see so much interest in participating.
Happy Earth Hour!
Got it up on Facebook and Twitter, too!
Thank you--
thanks for the reminder...
I had no idea this video existed! I feel proud to be Australian right now!
And yes! My blog mentioned Harmony Day last Saturday and it has been mentioned again today! Wonder if that will go global too?
Thanks for this Dee; we were visiting with family but I will try to take an hour tonight and hold a candle.
Amazing video.
