A lot of the SWF photos I’ve posted lately have been sunsets. With the sun slipping below the edge of the Lake every evening the year ’round, the most interesting and dramatic skies with the best unobstructed views just seem to be over the water at the end of the day. After so much red and orange and magenta, I’m really pleased when I can occasionally catch something intriguing during the day! When I took this one, the sky was filled in interesting patterns and shapes. Whether you think of them as friendly contrails or not-so-friendly chemtrails, they do make for some pretty designs as the winds at differing elevations whirl them around the sky.
