...but I'm content to be right where I am, not dreaming of being on the Coast. Here are two recent views from my backyard. The top photo is to the west, with the faint arm of Pigeon Bay hugging the horizon. The second shot is to the east, with the Point Pelee peninsula. Today it's raining, and fortunately the wind isn't too strong, so the back porch windows just may get cleaned and stay that way! It's a beautiful mild day in a rather indeterminate month...

the pause before the storms of winter. it's all part of the cycle of life.
Looks just like it looks here! Lovely shots, as always, Deb, always love to see Buddha serenely taking in the scene and the second shot is really lovely! They say that November is the wettest month of the year here in Seattle and I believe it! I just looked at the ten day forecast -- which probably will change twenty times before the 1st, but the first four days in December are showing nothing but sunshine! Sure hope they're right!
Have a great weekend and Happy Thanksgiving!
Sylvia
"Indeterminate month"....I like that.
I always love the bare trees of November; you've got some nice shots here.
Very nice photos.
Personally, I'm always dreaming of being on the west coast. Did love the Mamas and the Papas.
Aren't the lacy trees delightful? They seem to be gently snoozing, after working so hard to keep the leves happy all summer.
i'd rather be in your area too...

These are really delightful views. Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful view of the lake, Deb... Whether it is sunny or cloudy or rainy or windy or snowy there---your place and view is always incredible!!!! Lucky Gal!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
November is often featureless, but this year it has been exceptionally sunny and warm. And yesterday's rain wasn't unpleasant...better than snow in ice in my mind. Lovely views from your place.
Love your misty views, Deb. I can relate with the window cleaning. Ours facing the mountains are constantly being battered by whatever storm comes along. My neighbors probably think I am OCD as I'm always out there washing them. Beautiful lake....
