SKYWATCH FRIDAY - Cloud Swept (Lake Erie)

This sunset inspired me to contemplate on our small stance in such a large place as Creation. For music to go with it I would choose the final movement of Camille Saint-Saens' Symphony No. 3 (Organ Symphony). In fact, what are you doing for the next five and a half minutes? Here's an excerpt from YouTube; be sure to turn your speakers way up! You can watch the clouds over the lake (or out your own window) and let yourself fly.

Thanks to contributor Elaine for her inspiring photo and words for this week. For more beautiful sky shots, visit the Skywatch site.

Gorgeous shot. The music certainly does suit both the photo and the question. Lovely.

Very pretty and I like that you chose music to go with it. One of the things I like about the beach is that I sit and try to imagine where I am on a map and that I'm not even a grain of sand on that map. It really puts "me" in perspective.

I love sunsets. No single one is the same.
Your photograph is very inspiring and calming to me.

When I watch any peaceful sunset I hear the symphony From The New World by Antonín Dvořák (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYl4Xb4cDQ8)

Have a nice day:-)
