When I saw this sunset, it looked to me like arms and odd little paws holding onto the sun, and that made me think of the Zuni tale. I think Coyote’s face and body are there, too, but perhaps take a little more imagination…

Well, whichever way one perceives it - you've outdone yourself this week. Fantastic image of sky and water. My favorites!
Yes, I see what you mean. I see these too. Lovely! It makes my heart open wide to see this.

This is a lovely sky shot. I love the soft colors and light in this.
lovely photo and lovely sky and water!
I see something wrapping itself around the light, but it doesn't look like a coyote. I do see a huge arrow pointing at it. Your photo is beautiful. Isn't fun to imagine how those legends began?

I'm bad at finding pictures in clouds, but the clouds and color here are fantastic!
Art in the sky, fantastic. I love it.
Perfect photo for the story. One would think a trickster like Coyote could have done better at stealing light than he did. Maybe I wouldn't be buying a winter coat if he had!
Hi! Yes I can see the paws holding up the sun. The higher clouds appear to be bird feathers. Very beautiful. Thank you. Lisa
What an incredible photo! It has lit up my afternoon! I can see the coyote, that rascal!
I see it, and love your kind of imagination!
That's an awesome photo of the sun setting over Lake Erie. I don't think Lake Erie has EVER looked so good. ;-) Happy Sky Watch!
Very beautiful photo! Bravo really for such a nice work! Happy SWF!
I love those fingers supporting the sun. Nice shot Deb
I see the paws.

Wow, that's really gorgeous!
I just love the colors and clouds in this photo. I love the angle of the clouds in the sky. How creative to link it to that tale. I will have to go read it now! This photo is breath taking.
incredible!
beautiful colors as texture - I see the paws holding the sun too. Nicely captured.
I did see the underside of coyote and its furry chin stretching out across the sky. Lots of wispy white to tantalize a person's imagination in your lovely photo.
The coyote story hasn't filtered dow to Australia, nothing better though than an old folktale to hold up such a pretty sky.
I wasn't able to see that, but I am able to see what an amazing sunset you experienced and thankfully shared. Blue and yellow radiating, wonderful wisped cirrus clouds... the tranquil sea. Wow!
Beautiful colors in that sky, with or without the coyote arms. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I love the way the sky seems to touch the water! Great sunset!
Very beautiful photo and it is so fun to hear someones take on what is in the clouds. Lake Erie a wonderful place to see.
I see what you see, Deb! That is a really wonderful view. Thanks.
Wow, that is beautiful
