I should read up on Einstein. He's become a caricature ... or more correctly, our caricature of what a genius/scientist is ... although Einstein was part philosopher too. It's hard to see through that now in looking at images of him. I'm sure there's a good biography or two out there.
I chuckled over this when I first read it (I don't leave comments until after I've posted myself). I feel sure that Einstein's genius lay in the ability to let his imagination wander.
The Cloud Messenger (Meghadūta) is a lyric poem by the respected Indian poet, Kālidāsa. The poem centers around a yaksa in exile. Longing for his beloved, waiting for him on a Himalayan mountain, he asks a cloud to take a message to her. The sights he tells the cloud it will see on its way make up most of the poem.
The idea of recording observations appeals to me. I thought The Cloud Messenger was the perfect title for a blog about the journey that we all make as we move through our days.
I'm a baby boomer who grew up dancing in the streets of Detroit during the classic Motown years, lived beside the Rocky Mountains for many years, now retired and living (and writing full time) in S. Ontario. I have one blog for rock 'n' roll oldies, and one for nature, poetry and life along the Lake.

Love the humour in this. He would have appreciated it.
P...D...Q? Wonder if that's how that one happened too! Fun--thanks!!!
HA! I love the photo. The History Channel had a documetary on him a couple of weeks ago and I missed it.
That's a lot of fun, Deborah! Would be funny if he found a theory to match his scribbles!

Really fun and amazing - think of it Einstein! Now he knew how to doodle.

Did he really do that?!
A genius and my all time favorite. His birthday is on 14th March.
