I should read up on Einstein. He's become a caricature ... or more correctly, our caricature of what a genius/scientist is ... although Einstein was part philosopher too. It's hard to see through that now in looking at images of him. I'm sure there's a good biography or two out there.

I chuckled over this when I first read it (I don't leave comments until after I've posted myself). I feel sure that Einstein's genius lay in the ability to let his imagination wander.
