There's more movement that the eye can detect at the microscopic and metaphorical level. It's like the duck floating on still water with its feet paddling madly below the ground, out of sight.

Very, very Buddhist. The universe is just so many molecules vibrating.

Yes, oh yes. The way you have illustrated this is perfect for me this week. Thank you.

reminds me of hiking in our area and looking closely at the ground to find very small remnants of ancient native american pots. they tell a story of long ago.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. I am studying a book about the cup as a metaphor for the relationship with the divine. This is perfect.

Are you sure there aren't a few little germs (tiny organisms) mingling in with that still life with (the) atoms?
You can tell I like it.
..
BTW, after you came I put a picture of four old men on a bench with my verse.

There is so much movement our eyes cannot see! Wonderful interpretation!

The first line also brings to mind how painfully slow we addressing the needs of those whose bowls are empty everyday.

It takes a masterful haiku for me to sigh "ahhhh! Superb!"
It has just the right mix of imagery, sound, form, and word choice.
That last line is a beaut.
