These are beautiful captures Deborah...I love watching birds on the wing in the wind. I have just caught up on your blog and looks like you are having an interesting summer. I love your post on the spiders! One of the beauties of living on Haida Gwaii is that there is nothing predatory at all...no wolves, cougars, snakes, mean bears or big spiders which is nice but it can be a little difficult when you go off island and have to make a reality check!!! No seagulls here but we did have clouds this morning. However, our high temps have burnt them off and we are in for another long, dry spell. My sister is up there releatively close to you right now in Olcott, New York on the shores of Lake Ontario. She sent me a pic on her cell phone of the most marvelous sunset yesterday. Beautiful clouds, and the gulls look nice high up in the sky,against the clouds. Do clouds hang over the lake like the do the ocean shore?
